Maton Guitars - The Australian Music Vault
BENCU helped producer Jenny O’Meara and the Australian Music Vault, bring the history of Maton Guitars to life in an important exhibition at the Arts Centre Melbourne.
Central to Melbourne’s and Australia’s emergence as a true musical power, is the story of Bill May and his passion for creating incredible guitars. Today the most famous artists in the world use Maton Guitars but my favourite insight gained from this project, was that Keith Richards used a Maton for the recording of ‘Gimme Shelter’
